If I could describe 'I'll Conjure for You by Charish Reid, it would be 'honest and funny.' I love this book because everyone is vulnerable, even the ghosts/demons. Everyone is very human, whether they physically are or not. Let's backtrack a little. I'll Conjure for You is the sequel to 'I'll Come Back for You.' … Continue reading I’ll Conjure for You by Charish Reid

Dancing on my own
What's the most fun way to exercise? Dancing to the music you love, in comfortable shoes, is the best way to exercise. Although I enjoy exercising with others, I feel most like myself and free when I dance alone. Thats what I consider "the most fun way to exercise."
Favorite reads of March
Happy April! To kick off April, let's take a look back at March. I read 27 fantastic books, fics, and manhwas: some horror, some horror, a little smut, and a lot of grief. The sound of laughter
What makes you laugh? I tend to laugh a lot when people around me laugh, regardless of whether the situation is actually funny or not. I believe it's because I enjoy the sound of their laughter or their voice, similar to how people tend to smile when they hear a nice or soothing sound. The … Continue reading The sound of laughter
Nap
What do you wish you could do more every day? I wish I could take regular afternoon naps to be more alert, productive, and less exhausted.
Something’s amiss

I wear the same locket and touch it for luck whenever I leave the house. Once, I forgot to pray before I … Continue reading Something’s amiss

Where all the good books live
I'm a library person. I grew up fifteen minutes away, so I usually get my books at the library or Libby, but sometimes...not always, sometimes...there are books I can't find in either, so I open my browser and add them to my cart. My cart is on Bookshop.org, where all the good books live. There … Continue reading Where all the good books live
A memoir about not causing problems
You're writing your autobiography. What's your opening sentence? If there's one thing I won't do is cause a problem. There's a stereotype or perception of the middle child where they start problems, coupes, or whatever, but that's not me. Sure, I might start a revolution when I see injustice, I will fight to the death, … Continue reading A memoir about not causing problems
